Corner sofa with storage unit that may be integrated in the area modular wall system. It may be transformed into a ready double bed with slatted base. In the night version, the sofa “peninsula” element tips-up to make access to the bed easier.

If you’re a fan of Optimus Prime and the Transformers, you won’t believe your eyes when you see that furniture can adapt just as easily… or at least that’s what it seems like. I’d like to draw everyone’s attention to a collection of space savers by Italian designer Giulio Manzoni. Atoll 202, and Doc XL, and Lollipop are just a few examples from this product line, posted by New York based supplier Ron Barth of Resource Furniture.

Both functional and fun, this product collection is crafted from top materials, and is available in a variety of configurations and sizes. Whether you’re looking to save space or maybe you just can’t make up your mind about what to do with that extra room in your house, this collection is just what you’re looking for.

The transformable Doc system is a comfortable sofa with fully removable covering that with a simple movement and no strain becomes a practical bunk bed, provided with a safe ladder integrated in the structure which provides support and a protective barrier.
