I can’t say that I have ever sat in the beautiful DS-166 armchair, but just looking at it makes me feel safe and at ease. It’s so puffy, so soft and light. I wouldn’t be surprised if this thing was filled with air.
The DS-166 design comes to us from Hugo de Ruiter. He is as much an artist as he is an expert furniture designer. Long sweeping curves give this chair a strong sculptural presence—something only a master sculptor can effectively achieve. That, combined with it’s inviting appearance and lush materials, makes this the most comfortable armchair. Ever.
