Coppa Pedestal. Designed by Vitraform Glass Furniture.

Blown-glass in the bathroom? While we’ve seen infinite glass sinks in the past few years, we haven’t seen anything like this. The Coppa pedestal sink resembles a classic Murano vase in form. From Vitraform’s Glass Furniture collection, the handblown clear pedestal has been a consistent favorite. The pedestal can be completed with any of the 5 basin shapes and sizes available through Vitraform.

Assembled from separate sections, it can combine any of 12 available colors including black, white, cobalt and peach, in a polished or frosted finish. For metal components, including the drain, 12 basic finishes are available (along with custom finishes upon request). Delicate yet durable, the commercial grade Coppa pedestal has a standard countertop height of 30”. With a retail price of $9000, including a polished chrome drain, it’s distribution will likely be limited - making it a unique piece in homes.

The Coppa pedastal sink is fitted with a 16” wide freestanding bowl and countertop formed from two layers of 3/8 inch thick laminated glass for strength and safety. But it’s the blown-glass pedestal form that is show-stopping.
