 Large-Format Stone Tiles are a Great Alternative to Slab

The new rectangular stone tiles are gargantuan and gorgeous: "These tiles are huge and approximate the luxurious look of stone slab, but at a fraction of the price," explains Studium. At 24 x 36 inches, the  3/8"-thick stone tiles are also easier to install than slab stone. The shape is contemporary, making for beautiful compositions on floors and walls.

Studium is also introducing a collection of mosaics that marries stone and shellstone. Materials like mother-of-pearl offer subtle shimmer and shifting colors. When combined with stone, the shellstone creates a delicate and lovely juxtaposition.
