The iconic String® System, originally designed by Nils Strinning in 1949, is getting new finishes, elements, and colors-all debuting at Salone del Mobile 2017.

String+ is an accessory range designed by Björn Dahlström and Anna von Schewen, which includes hooks, rods, and a magazine holder.

String is also getting an entire new look, thanks to the introduction of an all-metal version. This material extends the possibilities of String, making it "ready for totally new applications"-such as kitchens and hallways.

The Swedish system is also adding three new colors to the smaller String Pocket line: burgundy, mustard, and sand.
