Tarkett’s Latest Canvas: Vellum and Bindery
Tarkett’s newest modular carpet offerings are of a literary bent: Vellum and Bindery celebrate the art of papermaking by approximating the texture, variation, and luster of fine handmade parchment.

Available in eight sedate color ways, the patterns convey a “hand-drawn feel … with linear striations coming and going in the background.”

By capturing the medium of story on the broad, tactile canvas of modular carpet, Tarkett evokes the calm contentment of reading a good book—Vellum and Bindery are warm and elegant patterns that convey comfort, sorely needed in these tumultuous times.

Tarkett offers Vellum and Bindery in 24 x 24 inch tiles, as well as 18 x 36 and 9 x 36 planks. Both styles utilize Tarkett’s ethos Modular with Omnicoat Technology, a non-PVC backing made from recycled windshields.
