Spoonflower celebrates all the wonderful gradations of Pantone’s 2025 Color of the Year with the Mocha Mousse collection: 12 designs by four artists that engage the senses with patterns ranging from florals to a basic plaid to abstract geometric designs.

Danika Herrick’s James No. 1 features alternating stripes of vertically oriented leaves with dots of brown that look like tiny animal tracks.

Marigold Strings, by gargipanwar, proposes a kind-of sepia-toned iteration of this familiar flower that’s even earthier than the real thing.

Vienne Canvas Woods by Holli Zollinger features a forest scene with a palette of bushy trees that evokes the dense foliage of Rousseau’s Primitivist paintings.

Lastly, Annette Brown’s Earthy Abstract Fruit offers a cross-section of some unnamed mocha-colored confection. Could be coffee beans. Could be figs. Could even be the under-celebrated yet quite savory sapote, common to Mexico and other Southern climes.
