Salone 2025: The Eternal Echo of Clay
Matter. Memory. Transformation. What is the essence of clay? Does it always contain its origin story?

Alice Ceramica played with these themes and shaped them into form during Idilla (The Eternal Echo of Clay) for Milan Design Week 2025.

The installation was curated by AR-O-Studio and held at the Alice Ceramica showroom on Via Marsala 2 in the Brera Design District.

The Idilla collection is designed by Manuel Di Giacobbe.

Aspects include countertop washbasins, freestanding washbasins, floor-mounted WC and bidets, mirrors, and structures.

A visual narrative of the process, from materials through to production, accompanied the collection, as well as pieces of the Idilla collection set among the ruins of Ocriculum, a Roman amphitheater.

“Like ancient stones, ceramics withstand time, preserving the stories of past civilizations.”

The installation included natural greens interspersed with bricks and technological elements, such as screens and digital displays.
