Salone 2025: Yves Saint Laurent x Charlotte Perriand
Famed French designer Yves Saint Laurent collected furniture by Modernist architect Charlotte Perriand. For Salone 2025, YSL designer Anthony Vaccarello recreated four pieces she designed between 1943 and 1967, including a striking chrome and leather armchair.

A contemporary of Le Corbusier and Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand was recognized for her tubular steel chairs, as well as her creative chaise longue. For Milan Design Week, Vaccarello decided to produce furniture that previously existed only as sketches or prototypes.

The exhibition set up the furniture in a high-ceilinged industrial space surrounded by organic brick walls celebrating geometric detail and casting unique shadows.

Besides the steel armchair, Perriand’s furniture collection includes a mammoth sofa, totemic bookcase, and wooden coffee table.

The limited-edition Saint Laurent x Charlotte Perriand collection will be available on a made-to-order basis.
