The NuStory Showroom in Manhattan hosted a preview of The Gilded Collection, a new line of seven rugs designed by The Brownstone Boys for NuStory.

The entire collection will officially launch on June 11, 2025.

The Brownstone Boys are the couple Barry Bordelon and Jordan Slocum. Their shared love of architecture and design was instrumental even in their early days of dating.

The two have gone on to become award-winning interior designers, renovating experts, and co-authors of the book “For the Love of Renovating: Tips, Tricks & Inspiration for Creating Your Dream Home.”

The Gilded Collection for NuStory merges heritage with modern elegance. The Hand Tufted Speakeasy Rug is designed to echo the craftsmanship of intricate wood detailing.

This one comes in Natural and Burgundy. This hand tufted rug is made of Sardinian wool.

Hand Loomed Parlor Rug pays homage to the intricate fretwork found in historic Brownstones.

This rug comes in smooth Jade, golden Ochre, deep Brick, and white Ivory.

Lounge Rug takes inspiration from the Art Nouveau movement and the ornate vintage wallpapers that once adorned the grand salons of NYC’s historic brownstones. The ivory and navy colorways each speak to New York’s vintage-defined eras.

Flatweave Bodega Rug draws from the instantly recognizable design of NYC’s classic cup of joe.
