NeoCon 2025: A Suite for One
Is there any form in nature as elegant and elusive as the bountiful blooming tulip?

There’s a reason that the endlessly innovative Dutch develop them in droves. Hightower takes the cue for the company’s latest project launch: Tulipan—”Neither a traditional phone booth nor a meeting pod”—represents the latest evolution in flexible workspace enclosure.

Like a tulip, whose petals subtly overlap and unfurl with the rising and setting of the sun, Hightower’s Tulipan offers an intuitive pivot, its inhabit simply swiveling to achieve shelter or invite interaction.

The seat is the nexus for this rotating movement, “offering semi-privacy without the need for a door—an elegant, informal solution to focused work, quiet reflection, or moments of pause within open-plan environments.”

Hightower calls Tulipan “Micro-Architecture,” an evocative term that gets to the heart of this sheltering space. Nor does it take the imagination of a child to see it as a species of tiny home, so easy is it to open the door for guests and in one fell swoop shut it for restorative “me” time.

Tulipan is but one component of Hightower’s “Considered Solutions” initiative, joining in-the-field experience with thoughtful design for an inclusive approach that accommodates diverse working styles. Visit the award-winning Hightower showroom in theMART, Suite 1110 to find out more.
