NeoCon 2025: Hyphen, Meet Hyphyn
Finally, there’s a vinyl fabric I can get behind, and its named after a mark of punctuation—this is a product after my own heart. Hyphyn (grammar nerds, please forgive the misspelling) offers all the longevity of traditional vinyl in a patented biodegradable textile.

I love it when technology makes beautiful things happen! Hyphyn uses a secret enzyme and proprietary resin formulation to create a durable vinyl fabric that biodegrades in zero-oxygen environments like landfills.

Invisible enzymes in both the PVC and polyester backing come to life once Hyphyn reaches landfill conditions, “accelerating microbial breakdown into inert gases—without releasing microplastics or toxic residues.”

Great for high-traffic areas like healthcare and workplace spaces, Hyphyn connects clients to durability and sustainability. It’s a win-win situation. To see Hyphyn at NeoCon 2025, visit Mayer Fabrics at 1173 (photo of showroom below).
