Designing furniture with restraint can be radical. Case in point: Mike & Maaike’s Rolly Bar Cart, a circular meditation on movement, symmetry, and simplicity. No extra flourishes. No visible screws. Just four identical discs—three for wheels, one for tabletop—steered by a single pivoting axis.

What looks like a Bauhaus unicycle is actually a sculptural bar cart. Solid wood rounds anchor its form, while a powder-coated steel frame keeps the silhouette tight and spare. It glides like a ruddered canoe, more graceful than gimmicky.

The geometry does all the talking. Especially in striped versions, Rolly starts to vibrate—visually, anyway. (It shares a similar graphic punch with the optical delight of Paddy Pike’s Shiny Seating.)

And in yellow? It begs for a Campari soda and a chaise at a summer hotel in Positano.
