In its latest collaboration with designer Lara Bohinc, Uniqka redefines leather furniture as sculptural statement pieces. The Betsy Collection—launched at Alcova during Milan Design Week 2025—translates the layered precision of bird plumage into bold, architectural forms for tables, benches, and mirrors.

Each piece is wrapped in hundreds of hand-cut panels of vegetable-tanned saddlery leather, their rounded edges cascading like feathers. The technique creates a rhythmic texture over solid wooden frames, topped with custom surfaces in wood, stone, or metal. The effect is tactile and graphic—shadow, scale, and saturation working in harmony.

Offered in six saturated colorways, from rust to petrol blue to spice yellow, Betsy adapts to a range of settings. In a boutique hotel lounge, the coffee table could ground a seating arrangement with warmth and texture. In a gallery or cultural venue, the bench might act as functional sculpture—inviting both use and admiration.

Bohinc’s vision is rooted in nature, yet Betsy’s strength lies in its balance of tradition and modernity.
