Terrazzo with a Fresh Edge

Terrazzo with a Fresh Edge

Terrazzo is everywhere right now, and the Veronese Collection by Artistic Tile shows why the material still feels essential. This modern take pairs resin with 95% Italian marble, giving designers the freedom of a uniform surface while spotlighting the raw beauty of stone fragments.

The collection arrives in five colorways, each with its own character. Multicolore sparkles with green and violet inclusions. Nero is dramatic, setting Carrara against an ink-black base. Crema softens with pale undertones, while Verde Perlino leans earthy with alpine green. The newest, Fumo Rosato, introduces smoky Fior di Bosco marble flecked with blush accents, a palette that feels both refined and quietly daring.

What distinguishes Veronese is restraint. The resin binder offers clarity, letting the marble chips take center stage without visual noise. The effect is rich, chic, and unmistakably elevated. For commercial spaces like boutique hotels, amenity lounges, or even an outdoor shower at a coastal retreat, the surface delivers both luxury and longevity.

Terrazzo has long thrived in shared environments because of its durability. Here, it is also about presence. These surfaces read as design statements, commanding attention while grounding a space. It is a similar story to what we saw with Supranova’s jewel terrazzo trays: a material traditionally utilitarian, reimagined as something collectible.

Veronese captures that shift. It is terrazzo distilled to its essential beauty: stone, color, and craft.
