The Gradient Game of Glassless Vessels

The Gradient Game of Glassless Vessels

The Blend Vase by Vienna-based studio Sheyn makes color gradient vases a centerpiece rather than an accent. Each 3D-printed form uses a custom PLA filament that shifts tone across its curves, creating hypnotic gradients that seem to move with the light.

From one angle, the vase glows in magenta. From another, it flashes teal or cobalt. In a hospitality lobby, office lounge, or restaurant setting, the effect changes throughout the day, offering guests a dynamic visual experience that feels never quite the same twice.

Silhouettes add to the intrigue. Some stretch upward with fluid elegance, while others appear pulled down by gravity. Each piece remains surprisingly light, yet the illusion of mass creates a striking tension.

Like other chromatic experiments we have covered, including Light Color Lacquer, these color gradient vases thrive on visual play. Architectural enough to stand alone, they are also functional enough to hold a single stem.
