The Aries Chair redefines what dining chairs can be. Designed and hand-built by Danish maker Morten Stenbæk, each piece reads as both furniture and sculpture. Its curved back sweeps upward like a ram’s horns, a gesture that feels at once powerful and calm.

Yet comfort, not drama, drives the form. Two thin wooden blades flex gently with the sitter’s spine, their split center relieving pressure while creating that striking silhouette. Every element, from seat to join to curve, shows the precision and patience of true craftsmanship, made entirely in Stenbæk’s Aarhus studio.

In a dining space or artful hospitality setting, Aries stands as proof that functional design can also be poetic. It recalls the balance of Hans Wegner’s Wishbone Chair, reinterpreted for a new generation of dining chairs.
