BDNY 2025: Duravit Defines Sustainable Bathroom Design
At BDNY, Duravit introduced two standout launches that illustrate the brand’s approach to sustainable bathroom design, where refined form meets technical innovation. The new Tulum faucet collection by Philippe Starck and Qatego Two-Piece Toilet by Studio F. A. Porsche highlight how thoughtful detailing and responsible production can elevate everyday hospitality spaces.
Tulum blends a conical body with a flat spout for a balanced, architectural look. Available in finishes like matte black and chrome, it’s WaterSense certified at 1.2 GPM, conserving water without sacrificing performance.
Qatego offers a soft, organic silhouette inspired by stones shaped by water. Produced at Duravit’s new carbon-neutral ceramic facility in Quebec, it incorporates Rimless® flushing and DuraShield® antibacterial glaze for lasting durability and hygiene.
At BDNY, both products underscored Duravit’s focus on local production, sustainability, and precise design engineering, values that continue to guide the brand’s direction in hospitality design. See more from the brand in Duravit’s White Tulip collection.
