BDNY 2025: Tactile Stoneware

At NovaBell, porcelain tile design reaches a new sensory depth. Through the Ceramics of Italy collective presented at BDNY 2025, the Italian manufacturer revealed a trio of surfaces that rethink what “stone-effect” really means. The Canvë, Dusk, and Atelier collections introduce a realism so refined it feels geological, each tile rippled with natural tactility and tonal nuance.

Across these new introductions, NovaBell blends material authenticity with design precision. Subtle texture and dimensional shading turn porcelain into something alive with light and shadow. The result is a material that captures the quiet strength of stone while maintaining the flexibility and performance of high-grade ceramic.

For designers, this opens an expansive palette of possibilities. Walls, floors, façades, even custom furniture can carry the weight and warmth of stone without its fragility. Like the textural surfaces featured in Quartz with Character, NovaBell’s work celebrates craft elevated by technology, a contemporary balance of authenticity and innovation.
