Decorative Lighting Carved into Whimsy
Decorative lighting often feels predictable, but Josh Page Studio’s Cut Out Table Lamp brings a warmer, more playful approach. Made from carved Redwood pine, the lamp glows through irregular openings that scatter light in soft, lively patterns. It offers decorative lighting with personality, turning a simple object into a small sculptural moment.
The form feels part totem, part accent piece. Its carved voids create an inviting glow that suits boutique hotels, mountain retreats, and relaxed commercial spaces. The lamp adds character without overwhelming the room and the glow feels soft and atmospheric, echoing the mood-setting appeal of the Lớp Lamps in Red and Pink.
Each lamp has its own pattern of cutouts, so no two look the same. That variation lets designers use them as one-off highlights in reading corners, bedside settings, or lounge areas that need a touch of levity. Over time, the pine deepens in tone, adding even more warmth.
The Cut Out Lamp shows how decorative lighting can shift the atmosphere of a space with simple materials and thoughtful craft. It delivers charm, glow, and a hint of humor—all in one small object.
