A Love Letter to the Table

A Love Letter to the Table

Valentine’s Day is an easy excuse to lean into red. It is a better excuse to design a table with intention. The Seferî collection by Bettina x Haremlique Istanbul feels like a love letter to gathering itself.

Created with Bettina Hakko, the collection moves well beyond table linens. It spans bed textiles, dinnerware, accessories, and décor, all anchored by a Toile de Jouy–inspired Seferî pattern. Nomadic tents, birds, and botanical motifs unfold across pink and green grounds, offering warmth in the middle of winter. It is romantic, but disciplined.

For designers working in hospitality or private club settings, this is luxury tabletop design with range. Pure linen cloths and embroidered placemats introduce craft through ajour detailing. Silver-plated frames and wooden trays layer in weight and polish. The effect is immersive without feeling themed.

The most compelling move may be the Storyteller Dinnerware. Perforated plate rims allow small charms to attach and rotate seasonally. The first, a pomegranate symbolizing abundance, makes a subtle nod to Valentine’s Day without resorting to hearts. It is modular. It is adaptable. And it offers operators a way to refresh tablescapes without overhauling the entire setting.

In a moment when experiential dining drives bookings, collections like this matter. They give designers tools to shape atmosphere across seasons. For more red-forward inspiration, revisit our recent roundup.

Call it Valentine’s Day. Call it winter programming. This is entertaining as atmosphere, not just a table setting.
