Cult Classics Earns Its Reissue
Shaw Contract built Cult Classics on a contrarian premise: the patterns worth keeping are the ones already proven. The commercial carpet tile collection pulls from archival motifs and analog textures, then refits them for commercial floors.
The first release pairs an 18-by-36-inch carpet tile with coordinating broadloom. Three tile styles, First Edition, Reissue, and Remaster, run across twelve neutral-leaning colorways tuned warm to cool. Multi-directional patterning keeps installation loose and waste low.
It reads vintage without the costume. A tweed-flecked field that grounds a boutique lobby, a study lounge, a boardroom angling to feel lived-in.
Underneath sits the performance case: solution-dyed EcoSolution Q nylon on EcoWorx BIO backing, carbon neutral by the brand’s accounting, recoverable through the re[TURN] program at end of life. Custom rugs ship now. LVT and porcelain follow.
The line arrives off a well-received NeoCon debut, and the logic holds. One reference library, many surfaces, a floor built to outlast the trend that inspired it.
