Summit Is Ultrafabrics’ Case for Leather Outdoors
Summit, the new indoor/outdoor upholstery collection from Ultrafabrics, behaves like leather and weathers like something far less precious. The supple hand is all hide. The constitution is all performance.
Thirteen colors carry the range, grounded in warm neutrals and lifted by a few cooler accents. Raw Cashew anchors one end. Deep Maroon holds the other.
What sets the collection apart is its indifference to location. Sun, moisture, and steady traffic all get the same answer. A 400,000 double-rub count and EPA-registered protection against microbes mean a rooftop terrace and a hotel lobby can share the same swatch, no caveats about which side of the glass they sit on.
There is restraint in the engineering, too. Summit arrives PFAS-free and SCS Indoor Advantage Gold certified, with recycled and renewable content worked into the backcloth.
For another Ultrafabrics exercise in color and restraint, revisit Simple Pleasures, the brand’s collaboration with Pantone. Summit picks up the thread and carries it outdoors.
