USAI Lighting has grouped its smallest apertures into single trays. The new Multiples platform arrives in single, double, triple, and quad configurations, with New Construction trays factory-set to on-center spacing between five and nine inches.

Spacing decided at the factory means fewer decisions made on a ladder.

Two families lead the release. Small In One Mini Multiples work at a three-inch aperture, where one fixture body handles downlight, wall wash, or adjustable duty. The profile stays under four inches tall and drops into plenums as shallow as four inches. The LittleTwos NXT Multiples take the two-inch route with dedicated optics, so each head commits to one job and does it precisely.

Designers can mix functions within an assembly or hold one throughout. Pairs and clusters read as pattern rather than clutter, which is the difference between a ceiling that looks planned and one that looks merely populated.

Across a corporate lobby soffit or a transit concourse, the result is rhythm without a fixture parade, and one more argument for letting small apertures carry a large room.
