The strip sits beneath the rail, so the source stays hidden and only the glow shows. At dusk the rail reads as a single warm stroke, tracing each stair run and pooling soft light on the treads and wall below.

That makes this LED railing lighting a quiet form of wayfinding. On a hotel terrace stair or a multifamily roof deck, the handrail becomes the guide, lit right where hands and feet need it. It dims, too, so a restaurant patio can shift from dinner service to last call.

Feeney already lets designers match its railings to the facade through its ColorEasy powder-coat palette. Now the rail can carry its own light, too. For outdoor stair lighting, that’s about as close to the path as light can get.
