The panel arrives first. Franny, designed by Elisa Ossino for Dieffebi, sets a full upholstered screen behind the work surface, and the acoustic desk stops feeling like a compromise. It reads as a backdrop, not a barrier.

Rectangular, square, or round. The round one behaves like weather. A pale sun rising behind the work.

Fabric absorbs the sound. The desk beneath it is painted tubular metal, thin enough to nearly vanish against all that softness. Tops come lacquered or in Forbo linoleum. Drawers suspend on either side, one or two, floating clear of the floor.

What it solves is the open-plan bind: wanting a boundary without wanting a box. Sightlines stay intact. A row of these along a coworking wall or in a hotel’s work corner would register as furniture, not infrastructure.

Add the padded stool and the posture loosens further. Nothing here asks you to sit up straight.
