Rimadesio’s Syncro Moves Four Panels as One
Push one panel and the rest follow. Syncro from Rimadesio is a sliding panel system that moves two, three, or four panels in perfect synchrony along a single overhead rail. No connecting plate. No floor pin.
Giuseppe Bavuso designed the mechanism, and it now runs across the Rimadesio collection. The same action works under wood slats, satin glass, or a fine dark grid. Panels reach 125 inches tall by 59 inches wide. Every composition is custom made.
Removing the floor track matters more than it sounds. The flooring plane stays unbroken. Nothing collects grit at a threshold. Panels stack in clean overlap when open, then travel out together to close.
Think of a hotel meeting room that has to become two by three o’clock. Or a restaurant alcove that opens to the lobby at seven. A sliding panel system this quiet reads as architecture, not hardware.
The division becomes another design decision, which is the rarer thing. Add it to the case for panels that hold space lightly.
