Dualis Brings Carrara, Calacatta, and One Moody Brown to the Handle
Watermark Designs’ new Dualis collection sets marble faucet handles into clean, simple metal bodies. The inlays come in Carrara, Calacatta, or Marrone. That is the whole idea, and it is a good one.
Most hospitality bathrooms already tell a stone story. A vanity top, a backsplash, a tub deck. Dualis lets the fittings join in. A sliver of the same marble lands exactly where a hand goes, and the fixture starts to read as part of the room.
Marrone is the one to watch. Its brown and charcoal veining, set in Ebony black nickel, goes moody and low-lit. Picture a hotel spa or a members’ club powder room. Carrara in polished nickel stays crisp and familiar. Each inlay is cut from natural stone, so no two handles match.
The vocabulary stays tight. Three handle profiles carry across basin, bath, bidet, and shower fittings: a lever, a four-lobed clover knob, and a smaller linear knob. Prefer metal over marble handles? The inlay can match the body or contrast for a two-tone touch.
Everything is made in Watermark’s Brooklyn factory. The brand’s Refinement collection takes a warmer, mid-century turn in brass. Dualis simply brings the stone up to meet your fingertips.
