Room & Board for Business and the Strength of Teak

There’s a new outdoor seating lineup from Room & Board for Business. As part of this expansion, the brand partners with Indonesia-based Quality Works, known for crafting long-lasting teak furniture from responsibly sourced heartwood designed to weather beautifully over time.

The Leti, Timor, and Savu collections lean into the honesty of teak. Thick members. Clean joinery. Nothing decorative that doesn’t also serve a purpose. Leti reads architectural, almost modular in its stance. Timor softens the posture with a lower sit and more relaxed angle. Savu, with its slatted seat, feels resolved and practical, especially where weather is part of the brief.

This is outdoor seating designed for real use. Pool decks. Courtyards. Hospitality terraces that see traffic all day. The cushions are generous, but the frames do the real work. They anchor the space.

The Banda umbrella, also produced through the Quality Works collaboration, completes the picture. Wood structure, considered mechanics, and just enough presence. It shades without stealing attention.
