NeoCon 2025: Idyllwild by Momentum

The Idyllwild Collection for Momentum Textiles and Wallcovering is a love letter to San Diego penned by designer Ellie Moser. This year, Idyllwild won Silver in the Best of NeoCon Awards in Chicago.

Each pattern is a tribute to the heart and soul of San Diego. These textiles capture the city’s essential spirit, “the serenity of coastal retreats, the energy of vibrant urban centers, and the warmth of sunlit canyons.”

If you attended NeoCon 2025 and wandered through Momentum’s showroom in THE MART, did you also see “The Chair” (see below) decked out in Idyllwild?

Immediately when we saw it, we went, “Wow.” And the reactions, when we shared it, on social media were impressive, from heart eye emojis to fire emojis. One person even wrote in asking, “Can you mail this to us?”

Del Mar

Del Mar sets the tone of Idyllwild. This bold kaleidoscopic pattern of banded diamonds is inspired by the vibrant energy of this beach city just 20 miles north of San Diego.

Del Mar comes in seven colorways: Gala, Rose, Agate, Sailboat, Seagull, Seashore, and Teak.

Idyllwild

Idyllwild is a hand-drawn floral pattern featuring real wildflowers and superblooms of the imagination. Look closely and you’ll see there’s an edge to this pretty-pretty floral piece. Do you see the hidden thorn there among the petals?

Ah, nature. Always bringing a yin to the yang. Idyllwild comes in a Berry, Dew, Evergreen, Midnight, and Picnic colorway to choose from.

Ramona

Idyllwild Collection by Momentum

Ramona is a chunky wool that is as much of a workout for the eyes as it is for the brain. This one is inspired by the lively foothill town of the same name.

There’s movement and dynamic geometry throughout the Ramona weave.

Soledad

Soledad is a lush velvet of layered linework. This one is named after Mt. Soledad in La Jolla.

The deep cotton-polyester pile offers a rich texture and absorbs light in such a way it results in pure color. The brilliance of Jewel seems to be the crown…jewel…of this pattern. It’s even more striking in person.

Idyllwild Collection by Momentum

There are nine colorways—Beacon, Dove, Grotto, Jasmine, Jewel, Pacific, Pine, Sienna, and Zest.

Julian

Julian is named after a charming mountain town in California.

This pattern is a modern tweed. Julian comes in ten colorways and pairs beautifully with each pattern in the Idyllwild Collection.
