NeoCon Preview: Light and “Aire”-y
Aire Sofa by Barcelona-based Ramos+Bassols for Prostoria knows how to adapt.

This new modular sofa, which debuted at Salone earlier this year, has soft lines and a floating base.

The continuous platform is a canvas for however you would like to arrange cushions, backrests, or table sections.

Hosting a movie screening? Add in all the backrests to accommodate the crowd. Reading in the evening? Add a table section to hold your glass of wine.

Modularity seems to be an emerging theme that will be on display this year at NeoCon 2025.

Aire transitions seamlessly while maintaining its lightness of character and a “formal simplicity” found in Mediterranean design.

“If we had to describe Aire in one word, it would be ‘freedom’—freedom to adapt, freedom to stretch out, freedom in composition. It is a sofa designed for versatility.”

Ramos+Bassols was founded in 2004 by David Ramos and Jordi Bassols. They design the types of products they would love to have in their own homes.

Their work is characterized by clean lines, timeless elegance, and a harmonious balance between form, function, and aesthetics.
