A dining table doesn’t usually double as a daydream. But 3 Carrer del Bau, from Carpenters Workshop Gallery, blurs that line in vibrant mosaic. Each surface becomes a shifting landscape—clouds, hills, and sky unfurl across legs and top, a terrain for both meals and imaginings.

Designer Léa Mestres uses mosaic like paint, letting color fields break into pixelated fragments. The effect is tactile and cinematic at once—inviting the hand, engaging the eye. Pastels sit beside saturated blues and greens, recalling both Catalan Modernisme and a child’s illustrated atlas.

For hospitality spaces, it’s the rare table that feels like an installation. Guests gather, but so do stories—of flights skimming clouds, of hills rolling toward unseen coasts. In that way, it shares a sensibility with Art Deco on Deck: both spark conversation without a word.

It’s bold but not brash, anchored by familiar function. The table holds plates and glasses, yes—but it also holds a little sky.
