Milan-based designer Chris Fusaro starts with pasta, tortiglioni specifically, and ends up with cast bronze furniture. Each ridged tube is individually cast in bronze, then welded piece by piece into a woven grid. The result is a stool that reads as textile and tableware at once.

The patinated finish pulls everything toward sea glass and verdigris. That teal is not painted. It lives in the metal. Up close, the surface has a crinkled, almost edible depth. From across the room, it lands like an artifact.

At 42 x 24 x 22 cm, this is small but serious. The proportions would be at home on a side table in a boutique hotel suite, or perched at the end of a gallery bench. The construction logic, repeated casting and manual assembly, gives it a handmade gravity that belies how playful the concept is.
