NeoCon 2026: Grain, Structure, and Staying Power from Mantra Inspired Furniture

Mantra Inspired Furniture makes the kind of solid hardwood office tables that feel like a quiet argument for doing things right. Two new introductions, the Rooted Table Collection and the Canopy Table, make that case from opposite ends of the design spectrum.

Rooted works through precision-cut panels that interlock to form the base, four angled planes that splay like, well, roots. The geometry is direct and the grain does the rest. In the round cafe configuration, the bases read almost like stylized compass roses pressed into service as furniture. In a rectangular run across a collaborative floor, they land somewhere between workshop and executive suite.

Canopy goes the other direction. Arched hardwood panels form the legs, meeting the underside of the tabletop with something that reads like joinery from a cathedral. The proportions are generous. The shadow lines are good. Specifiers with a fondness for material honesty will recognize immediately what they’re looking at.

Both collections are available in American hardwood species including white oak, walnut, cherry, and ash. They’re flat-pack friendly as well. Designed in Virginia and made in Ohio, they balance craftsmanship with practical specification needs.

Mantra will debut the Rooted and Canopy collections at NeoCon 2026, Booth 7-7030, June 7-10, at The Mart in Chicago. It’s been a strong show for NeoCon 2026 coverage so far.
