Arper relaunches the Catifa (RE) 46 with the silhouette it has sold for two decades, rebuilt from the inside out. The shell is now 100% recycled polypropylene, drawn from post-consumer and industrial waste, finished in a matte, faintly grainy texture that reads as deliberate rather than salvaged.

Colors follow suit. Ivory, rust, espresso, moorland green: eight tones pulled from raw building materials, not a plastics catalog.

The best part sits at the back. A contrasting upholstered front meets the exposed shell, so the recycled seating shows both faces at once. A quiet nod to the bi-color trick that made the original memorable.

Specs stay generous. Six bases in all, from four-legged wood and steel to sled, trestle, and a five-star swivel, plus optional arms and a stool in two heights. A BREATHAIR® cushion adds breathable, water-resistant, fully recyclable comfort. Steel and sled versions handle the weather outside.
