Hightower’s Stanza Tables Take Root

Stanza began as a family of modular planters. Now Stanza Tables update the collection, and in a twist born of a misheard comment inside Hightower’s design studio, some arrive with planters built right in. Biophilic furniture rarely gets this literal.

The tables come in three heights: 20, 16, and 14 inches. The two shorter sizes take an optional integrated tray that holds pots up to 9.5 inches across, with an adjustable shelf to keep the greenery sitting just right. Varied heights nest into layered groupings, and the faceted forms, first inspired by Richard Serra’s space-shaping steel, read differently from every angle.

The practical story holds up too. Indoor and outdoor rated. Flat-packed and assembled without tools. Essentially monomaterial, so fully recyclable at end of life. More than 20 powder coat colors run from quiet neutrals to metallics. Cluster them in a lobby, thread them through an open plan, or let them steer traffic where walls would feel heavy-handed. Like the recently launched Modo Pouf and Silo Power, Stanza Tables show Hightower thinking hard about how shared spaces actually work. This time, the thinking comes with biophilic furniture attached.
