Shore Studios Weaves Its Gradients Instead of Dipping Them  

The Chaise from Shore Studios is woven from hand-extruded silicone cord over a marine-grade foam core. Thick enough to read as knitwear from a distance. Up close, rope.

The gradient comes in eight pairings. Lavender into sand. Green into gold. Blue into citron. Two tones blended through the weave, never seamed into panels, with the fade running on the diagonal so the bolster, the seat, and the outer face each catch a different mix.

None of it is dyed. Pigment is blended in-house and worked into the silicone before the cord is extruded, so the color sits in the material rather than on it. Which also makes the palette negotiable. Everything is made to order in London.

Silicone does not mind sun or salt, and it stays springy in the cold. Water passes through the open weave and evaporates from underneath. For woven outdoor seating on a rooftop or a resort cabana run, that matters more than it sounds.
