Iconica Wall and the Floating Cone
Iconica Wall sets a frosted glass cone inside a clear borosilicate cylinder. Sara Moroni designed it for Penta as the wall sconce version of her Iconica pendant.
Unlit, it reads as a slim mirrored tube on a dark bracket. Lit, the cone shows up. It hangs inside the glass, seemingly weightless, and appears to double and drift as you walk past.
The silhouette promises a tight beam. The light is softer than that. The glass diffuses an even, warm glow onto the wall, so a pair flanking a doorway gives two soft pools instead of two glare points.
The mounting plate carries the technical load. Light controls hide inside it, and no screws show. In a guestroom or a residential lobby, where people pass at arm’s length, that clean junction matters.
Bronze, chrome, and gold finishes come in two heights, and units can stand alone or group into custom arrangements. iGuzzini took a similar architectural view outdoors with its Cryso collection. Iconica Wall brings that thinking to the corridor, one glass sconce at a time.
