KBIS 2026: True Caliber Deepens the Palette with Espresso

At KBIS 2026, True Caliber reminded us that luxury appliances don’t have to default to stainless. True Caliber’s 2026 Color of the Year, Espresso, brought depth to a lineup that spans far beyond refrigeration.

True Caliber offers a full suite of customizable, American-made products, from spacious side-by-side refrigerators and wine cabinets to grills and griddles built for outdoor entertaining. Espresso now threads through that entire range, giving designers a dark neutral that feels tailored and deliberate.

The color itself is saturated and full-bodied, with a velvet undertone. It reads grounded, not heavy. Paired with walnut handles and warm metal hardware, it feels architectural. Composed. Intentional.

Then there’s Crimson, a legacy red finish now back in the mix. Where Espresso anchors the room, Crimson charges it. Seeing both at KBIS 2026 made the contrast feel strategic. One whispers permanence. The other declares confidence.

Espresso feels particularly current. We’re seeing this richness across textiles, wallcoverings, and fashion. At KBIS 2026, it reframed the conversation around luxury appliances, proving that performance and palette can evolve together.
